You may recall that I bought a cell phone this year. How do you buy an American-made cell phone, you ask? You buy one that has become a “naturalized citizen.” You buy a used phone.
That’s exactly what the site Zendoo does. They buy your junky old cell phone, and then they cell it to somebody else. Like me.
My previous cell phone was so old and awful they didn’t want it. I donated it. The recipient probably threw it away. But that’s not what this is about. Read the rest of this entry »
I bought a new phone. But not really. I bought a used phone. It’s new to me, but it used to belong to somebody else. Based on the signature programmed into the text editor, it appears to have belong to someone named Molly. So Molly if you sold your phone to Zendoo.com, and if it was an LG Voyager, it’s now mine. Don’t worry, I’ll give it a good home.

Panic.
The 7 button on my cell phone sticks. It either doesn’t click or it clicks twice. I’ve been holding on to this phone for as long as possible. It’s probably 2-plus years old.
