You have got to be kidding me.

You cannot buy American-grown locally roasted coffee unless you are rich. Period.

We have our first MITUSA casualty. It is coffee. I am sad.

  1. Very true, I have limited my coffee drinking to weekends only to be able to afford it. I did run across a few great kona coffee growers. http://usamade.info/2009/01/09/100-kona-coffee-blue-horse/
    Blue horse, is one, I have purchased and loved. Not too expensive, but well worth the price.

  2. Thanks for the great comment, and for the marvelous Kona info. At $22 per pound, it’s about half the price of most other Kona I’ve found. I think that price–roughly double what I’m used to paying for “illicit” beans–it’s within the realm of possibility. I’ll have to order some…
