Sneakerheads

I didn’t know this was a thing: Sneakerheads pay big bucks for rare kicks.

I like shoes as much as the next guy, but something about this seems excessive. Not really MITUSA-friendly, if you ask me. There’s something about hoarding stuff, much less hoarding brand new, really expensive sneakers that comes across as distasteful. Like driving a Hummer or building a McMansion.

You can buy shoes. Buy lots of shoes even. But maybe stop before you need to rent a separate apartment for your shoes. And maybe go see a play or something.
