Wilco (The Vinyl)

Wilco asked those of us who enjoyed downloading the band’s new album for a couple of months prior to its release to pitch in and please actually buy the thing. So I did. Of course, I decided it would be more fun to buy the album on vinyl. (BTW, it is.) A visit to vintage vinyl provided me with the big, beautiful thing at $20–including a CD copy of the very same record. Read the rest of this entry »

Wilco’s got a new record due next month. They sent me an email to announce they’d put it up online for free streaming (their way of saying, I think, “please don’t steal our music, but you’re welcome to listen to it.”) A week or so later they sent another message to announce that CD and vinyl versions are available for pre-order.
